Specifically, personal items must measure no greater than 16″ x 12″ x 6″, whereas standard carry-ons cannot be larger than 21.7″ x 13.8″ x 9.9″. Any piece of hand luggage carried onto an Air France plane must be smaller than 21.7 inches by 13.8 inches by 9.9 inches, including pockets, wheels and handles. Size and Weight Limits. The Air France baggage guidelines state: "The combined weight of your hand baggage item and accessory must not exceed 12 kg / 26 lb" I've measured our carry-on luggage bag and it fits the size requirements.
